Are you familiar with Galentines Day? Its a fictitious holiday celebrated on February 13th – a day to recognize all your favorite Gals! This year I’m sending my favorite ladies these adorable homemade bath bombs because who doesn’t love and need a relaxing spa day without breaking the bank.
Ingredients
- Stainless Steel Bath Bomb Mold
- 32 oz Baking Soda
- 16 oz Citric Acid
- 4 oz Extra Fine Epsom Salt
- 2 oz Borage Oil
- 0.7 oz Polysorbate 80
- 20 drops YL Geranium EO
- colorant per preference
- Dried Flower Petals
- Witch Hazel in spray bottle

Instructions
- In a small container combine Borage oil, Polysorbate 80, Colorant, and Essential Oil.
- In a large bowl combine baking soda and citric acid (you can sift it to make sure there are no clumps) then add epsom salt and mix thoroughly.
- Add you oil mixture to your dry ingredients. (I just use my hands to mix thoroughly and wear gloves because citrus acid has a tendency to take off your nail polish)
- Check your consistency it should be similar to the feeling of wet sand on the beach and have shape when squeezed. If its too dry spritz witch hazel while continuing mixing until the mixture holds shape.
- Fill both halves of the mold and press molds firmly together.
- Leave in mold for 24 hours to let bath bombs fully harden then gently twist molds to remove. Once you’re ready to use, drop in hot bath and enjoy!
