One thing we have no short supply of around here is projects. From trying to contain our escape artist of an Aussie on the property, to bedroom renovations, to building tree house playgrounds, we love to be creative. We hope you enjoy following along as we share some of our favorite creations!
Flipping the Farmhouse
Both Mike and I have been blessed to have found in each other a love for making ugly things beautiful. Our home is just one thing that we always are working on improving and running experiments. We’ll occasionally be sharing updates that we make here and in our blog posts, but also make sure to follow us on Instagram (@downwentzroad) since that’ll be the first place we share any renovations!
The Tree House
When Mike sets his mind to a project, he goes all out. For better or for worse. All. Out. What was supposed to be a playhouse, you know- just a small kid-friendly thing on the ground, quickly got mounted six feet in the air with slides, swings, electricity, a pond, and who knows where the ideas will end! It’s still a work in progress. This is why the grandkids know they can get away with anything when Grandpa’s around – he’s the maestro of fun and mess-making.
